Of all of the colonies I’ve kept, one of my colonies has the angriest queen I’ve ever encountered. Her next-door queen is mild and her colony is easy to work. The comparison couldn’t be more stark.

On the writing front my non-fiction projects continue to flow like honey. My fiction work is on hold pending travel to the site of my most recent novel for texture and background material.
